The Passing of Our Classmate - Romelda Kendrick

Romelda E. Kendrick, 64, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, in Union Hospital. Romelda was born in Gary Ind., to Henry S. Kendrick and Elease Kendrick, on Feb. 2, 1949. Romelda was retired as a train supervisor after 40 years of service.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Gary and Daughters of Isis at Mahomet in East Chicago.

She is survived by two sons, Sidney Kendrick of Terre Haute and Jamall Henderson and his wife Shawanna of Indianapolis.

Cremation has been chosen by the family. There are no services. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, was entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com

THE PASSING OF OUR CLASSMATE



Vera Mae Jones

Age 64 passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013. She was a member of New Macendonia M.B Church where she was a Missionary. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1967 and employed with Life Savers CPR Training Center with over 12 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lee Nash Sr.; sister, Shirley Ann Nash and son, Darnell Jones Sr. She is survived by three sons, Harold (JaQuita) Jones Jr., Michael (Sara Joy) Jones and Keith Jones; one daughter, Tracy Jones; mother, Inell Nash; two brothers, Eugene (Linda) Nash and Richard (Mallory) Nash; three sisters, Denina White, Regina (Tyrus) Johnson and Linda (Brian) Atkinson; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Love Feast COGIC 2456 Chase Street Elder Clarence Harris, Pastor, Pastor Chester Jones, Officiant.…
